An Inmate Led Outreach

Education, music, and story are powerful forces.  They inspire, challenge, and motivate us.

 

Telling your own story is therapeutic and healing.

 

In partnership with Jefferson Correctional Institution located in Monticello, Florida, the Amplify Dorm combines a weekly educational curriculum and creative opportunities from art, music, writing and more.

 

This program is designed to increase interpersonal and practical skills for those who may reenter society in the near future, with a focus on reducing recidivism through an inmate's ability to live effectively in compassionate community with others, both inside and outside the prison.
